Welcome to Makro. By using our platform, you agree to these terms. They're written to be clear, not to bury anything in legalese.

What Makro is

Makro is a financial clarity platform. We help you understand your cash flow, track expenses, and forecast what's ahead. We're a tool for visibility, not a replacement for professional financial advice.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, let us know immediately at support@makro.com. One account per person or entity - no sharing access across organizations.

Acceptable use

Use Makro for legitimate business purposes. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with our systems. Don't use Makro to process transactions for illegal activities or to misrepresent your financial position to third parties.

Your data

You own your financial data. We process it to provide our services - categorization, forecasting, insights - but it remains yours. You can export or delete it at any time. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Bank connections

When you connect bank accounts, you authorize us to retrieve transaction data through our secure banking partners. We use read-only access. We cannot move money or make changes to your accounts.

Service availability

We aim for high uptime but can't guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance happens, and sometimes things break. We'll communicate proactively when possible.

Subscription and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on what you choose. You can cancel anytime - your access continues until the end of your billing period. We don't do refunds for partial periods.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you'll retain access until your current billing cycle ends. After that, your workspace moves to the Free tier.

Limitation of liability

Makro provides financial visibility tools, not financial advice. We're not liable for business decisions you make based on data shown in Makro. Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months prior to any claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Makro evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect.
